    Come this Saturday March 10th at the Bolton Macron Stadium, UK fight fans are in for another night of lip-smacking Muay Thai action. YOKKAO 29 - 30 is stacked with the best fighters in the region and Thailand featuring both top-billing acts as well as up-and-coming fighters in the region. The fight card for the double event is now complete with the addition of energetic matchups featuring promising young fighters like Joe Craven and Robbie Collins, both of whom have previously appeared on YOKKAO events. A number of up-and-coming fighters will be making their YOKKAO debuts, and will certainly look to make an impression. As has been the event’s format in the UK, YOKKAO 29-30 also features an undercard of Next Generation competitors. Many of these fighters would eventually go on to fight on the main card.     The Return of YOKKAO Kids - Another Resounding Success at Barnsley

    YOKKAO Next Generation Kids returned to Barnsley Metrodome on February 10th, for another fun-filled day of junior Muay Thai action. The card was completely stacked with 55 pairs of bouts taking place at the show. Over a hundred young competitors arrived along with their coaches and families flocked to witness the return of YOKKAO Kids. Besides competitors from the home nation, young fighters from Holland, Germany, Cyprus, Spain and Ireland descended to take part in the event. YOKKAO junior fighters Ellie Barker and Joe Ryan both defended their titles successfully against their respective challengers. The 2 fighters put in a world class performance as the headlining acts of the show. Ellie took on her old sparring partner and good friend Anya from Steve Wright’s Erawan Gym. The fight was closely-matched but Ellie was able to secure her win with big late rounds. Joe was fresh off his silver medal win from IFMA Baltic.     YOKKAO Next Generation Kids has built a world stage for a new generation of junior fighters to showcase their skills, laying the path for a career in Muay Thai. Come the 3rd March at the Grangemouth Leisure Complex in Scotland, the event is bringing two amazing stories that illustrate how junior Muay Thai can also improve lives both in and out of the ring. Two amazing young ladies, Maddie and Darcy will come together at YOKKAO Next Generation Kids Scotland for a local Scottish junior title. The even greater prize involved in the matchup will go beyond the ring as they will both represent beneficiaries for 2 nonprofit social causes respectively. The coming March 10th show at Bolton Macron has already set up a sizzling bout between Amy Pirnie vs Ilenia Perugini. Now another female match-up is confirmed for YOKKAO 29 featuring English ladies, Dakota Ditcheva and Hannah Brady. At only 18 years of age, Dakota already has a number of titles to her name including British, European and World Championships. One of Dakota’s claim to fame was her battle with Amy Pirnie at YOKKAO 24. The female bout remains one of the most talked-about and best female fights on YOKKAO to date. Despite losing over decision at the end of 5 intense rounds, Dakota put up a stellar performance that found favor with many fans that night.     In about a week’s time, the increasingly prominent YOKKAO Next Generation Kids returns to the Barnsley Metrodome for another round of junior Muay Thai fun and action. The date is fixed for 10th February Saturday and the stage is now set for the young warriors to show what they have got. The return to Barnsley follows the event’s inauguration held last November 26th. Organized in partnership with SuperShow, the resoundingly successful event saw a stacked 59 bouts featuring Muay Thai Kids from UK and around Europe. The event also saw the crowning of Joe Ryan as the first YOKKAO Junior World Champion and Ellie Barker as the YOKKAO Intercontinental Champion. For the February 10th show, it is going to be another truly international event with 20 overseas juniors attending from Spain, Portugal, France, Holland, Germany and Ireland.     YOKKAO Next Generation Kids Confirmed for Scotland 3rd March!

    Following the announcement of the YOKKAO Next Generation show taking place at Paisley, Scotland, another event has been confirmed for Scottish Muay Thai fans. YOKKAO Next Generation Kids is now set to take centre stage at the Grangemouth Leisure Complex on 3rd March, Saturday. This is the third of seven events that YOKKAO has lined up for the of Next Generation Kids series between 2017-2018. It follows the inaugural show held last November in Barnsley Metrodome and the follow-up that will take place on February 10th at the same venue. Headlining the event will be local young lady, Erin Kowal, who now trains with coach Keith McLachlan out of the Griphouse Gym in Glasgow. Erin previously trained under the late great Jordan Coe at the now defunct Carnage Gym. The 16 year-old comes from the Scottish town of Falkirk and has been training in Muay Thai since 2011. She has won a number of titles that include Scottish, British and European championships and looks forward to competing full-time

    YOKKAO Extends Online News and Events Coverage For Kids!

    Muay Thai kids are no longer just a phenomenon found in Thailand. Over the past few years, more and more kids are taking up Muay Thai training all around the world. They are not just training as a recreational sport but are competing in world championships. Last year on 26th November, YOKKAO organized its first event for young athletes between 5 to 16 years old. The YOKKAO Next Generation Kids, held in partnership with promoter Peter Spensley and long-time YOKKAO collaborator, Brian Calder, delivered an immensely successful and unforgettable show that set the high bar for all future Muay Thai junior competitions. The inaugural show, held at the Barnsley Metrodome, also gave the world the first YOKKAO Junior World Champions, Joe Ryan and Ellie Barker. The second YOKKAO Next Generation Kids is set to take place on 10th February, at the Barnsley Metrodome once again. Applications began pouring in as soon as the first Kids show ended and now the card is stacked with back-to-back action.
