    Singdam & Manachai Double Victory at YOKKAO Fight Night

    The inaugural YOKKAO Fight Night was held last Saturday in Bologna, Italy to a great reception. A total of 19 bouts were on display including 14 Next Generation matches on the undercard. Fans were treated to an evening of back-to-back Muay Thai action in a card headlined by multi-time champion, Singdam who faced Italian fighter, Cristian Faustino.

    Singdam and Faustino went toe-to-toe in a five-round thriller that had the audience at the edge of their seats. The Thai legend put on a clinic against his opponent, outscoring with big kicks and punctuating with a few elbows. Despite a cut in round three and taking the eventual loss, Faustino put up yet another outstanding performance to the respect of his opponent and the home crowd.

    YOKKAO 45: Yodchai vs Alessandro Sara

    Matchmaking is heating up and the first fight for YOKKAO 45 has just been confirmed. Making their way to the PalaRuffini arena on 25 January 2020 are two young, technical fighters: Yodchai from the YOKKAO Fight Team will take on Italy's Alessandro Sara in a lightweight face-off. 

    The coming bout will be a rematch between the two who last fought at the renowned Lumpinee stadium earlier this August. Sara took the win that night by points after a 5-round battle, a result he will be looking to replicate in Turin. The young Italian fighter trains out of Petchrungruang Gym in Pattaya and is a regular on the stadium circuit in Thailand. Returning to Italy on 25 January and making his second appearance for our promotion, he will have the home crowd behind him at YOKKAO 45 when he clashes again with Yodchai.

    First Fight Announced: Saenchai vs Cangelosi 2 in Turin!

    It’s exactly 2 more months to YOKKAO 45-46 which is set to take place in Turin, Italy on 25 January 2020. Our flagship event series will make its way back to the PalaRuffini Arena with an evening of top Muay Thai action installed. The first bout for the double event has been confirmed and will feature the headlining act starring Saenchai vs Shan Cangelosi from Italy.

    The main event will mark the second meeting between the pair. Saenchai and Cangelosi first crossed paths in the ring at the PalaRuffini Arena back in 2017. The Italian fighter went the distance for three hard rounds against the Thai living legend with the latter bagging an away-win via unanimous decision.

    As announced earlier, Spencer has pulled out from YOKKAO Fight Night Bologna due to a suspected traumatic brain injury. The young fighter has ceased all training and is now undergoing further tests and recovery treatment until all symptoms are fully cleared. 

    Stepping in to face Italian fighter, Alessio D’Angelo in Bologna in place of Spencer will be none other than fellow teammate, Manachai. The former world champion took a hiatus since August and recently returned to the camp where he has resumed his training.

    Another headlining act has been confirmed for YOKKAO Fight Night Bologna that will place on 30 November. In the co-main event will be Spencer from the YOKKAO Fight Team, taking on Italian fighter, Alessio D’Angelo.

    After the immense success of YOKKAO 35 - 36, we are pleased to officially announce that YOKKAO 45 - 46 will return to Turin, Italy on 25 January 2020. The double event will be held once again at the Palaruffini multi-purpose indoor arena.

    YOKKAO 35 - 36 saw a sold-out venue with nearly 5000 fight fans congregating from Italy and around the region. The stacked card starred many of the biggest names in Muay Thai including Singdam, Manachai, Yodchai, Spencer, Liam Harrison and living legend, Saenchai.
