The Return of the Golden Boy!
After a brief but missed absence from the ring, Pakorn returned with a bang by clinching the World Muay Thai Council and Phoenix Fighting Championship welterweight titles earlier this April in Beirut. The even better news? He is also officially back training at YOKKAO Training Center Bangkok, alongside his YOKKAO fight team mates Saenchai, Singdam, Manachai and others. Not forgetting winning the coveted Sports Authority of Thailand’s ‘Fighter of the year’ award in 2010. Over this time, Pakorn has won not just these accomplishments but also the hearts of Muay Thai fans all over the world. He is adored for his impressive technical skills and often entertained the crowds with great action in the ring. Many of his fights are remembered to this day but none more than Lumpinee’s Fight of the Year in 2010. The legendary fight that pitted Pakorn against another Muay Thai legend, Pornsanae Sitmonchai, remains one of the most celebrated matchups of all time. Videos of the fight are widely shared online, even to this day. Earlier this year, Pakorn joined some of his former ring rivals like Pornsanae, Sagetdao Petpayathai and Petboonchu FA Group as a Muay Thai instructor in Singapore. But as a fighter by nature, Pakorn’s heart belongs in the ring and this burning passion has led him back to fighting professionally. With his recent win at Phoenix Fighting Championship, Pakorn is training at full gear at YOKKAO Training Center in preparation for his next fight. Meanwhile, Pakorn fans, rejoice! Private sessions with the multiple-time champion will be available at YOKKAO Training Center Bangkok. Don’t miss this great opportunity to train with the Muay Thai superstar.
