The countdown has officially begun for YOKKAO 35 - 36 with 9 days to fight night in Turin Italy. For the first time ever, our official event will be held at the 5000-seat PalaRuffini. Tickets are almost sold out and a massive congregation of Muay Thai fans are expected at the indoor arena on Saturday, 26 January.
YOKKAO 35 - 36 features one of the most star-studded lineups to date with fight appearances by Saenchai, Singdam, Manachai, Yodchai, Spencer, Sudsakorn and Liam Harrison. The stacked card brings together 26 matches in total including the Next Generation undercard and a Kids showcase. Three titles will be contested with Manachai vying for the WMC Intercontinental title against Luca Falco; Yodchai taking on Jonathan Astarita for the WBC Lightweight Intercontinental title; and Spencer squaring off against Luca Roma for the WBC Super-Lightweight European title.

The card for YOKKAO 37 - 38 is stacking up with another fight confirmed for the 23 March event. UK number one, Joe Craven will be defending his spot against Scotland’s Chris Shaw in a 72.5-kg showdown.
Craven made it to the top of the chart last August and saw a pristine undefeated fight record for 2018. He has picked up 3 wins on YOKKAO promotions to date including a decision against Jake Purdy last October. Fighting out of the renowned Bad Company gym in Leeds, Craven will defend his number one spot against another middleweight maestro, Chris Shaw.
Shaw will make his return to the YOKKAO stage after more than a year since his memorable round-one KO victory against Connor McCormack on YOKKAO 28. 2018 saw him slipping off the UK rankings but he’s back to claim his spot. The multi-time champion will have to go through a tough-as-nails Craven, as he regains his momentum in the race to the top.

Over the weekend on 16 December, a double-bill showcase featuring YOKKAO Next Generation and YOKKAO Kids took place at Thai Boxe Torino in Turin Italy.
Organized in partnership with Carlo Barbuto, a stacked card of up-and-coming fighters as well as some very young athletes took to the ring. Teams and supporters showed up to rally behind their fighters who were pitted against each other in an exciting display of Muay Thai skills.
For many in attendance, the highlight of the show was the young competitors of the YOKKAO Kids segment. Some of them were as young as 8 years old. These promising junior fighters put on one intense match up after another, leaving the crowd in awe and the parents proud.

YOKKAO Next Generation returns once again to the island of Phuket on Sunday, 23 December. On top of a card of young promising competitors, the event will be co-headlined by YOKKAO stars: Manachai and Yodchai.
It’s another day at the office for both Thai fighters who are coming into the event ahead of their respective title bouts at the highly-anticipated YOKKAO 35 -36 in Italy next month. Preparations for YOKKAO 37 - 38 is officially underway with some familiar names and new faces already confirmed for the 23 March show. Two YOKKAO event regulars are ready to return to Bolton Macron Stadium for a face-off and it’s none other than Nathan Bendon vs Craig Coakley.
Nathan Bendon proved his place in the sport when he took on Rambo Phet Por Tor Aor at YOKKAO 32 with less than a month’s notice. The UK fighter fought tooth and nail against an elite Thai champion in one of the night’s most memorable fight, showing he can hold his own against the best. Bendon is back for his third YOKKAO appearance in another challenging bout as he faces the KO extraordinaire, Craig Coakley.

A third title bout has now been confirmed and added to YOKKAO 35 - 36 taking place on 26 January 2019. The previously announced fight between Yodchai from YOKKAO Fight Team and Jonathan Astarita from Italy will now be an official WBC Lightweight Intercontinental title match. Yodchai has built a reputation as a highly exciting fighter to watch in the ring, with a string of outstanding performances over the past 2 years in both domestic and international competitions.
Fighting since the age of 8, it’s now his time to shine as the 23 year-old finally gets his major title shot at the coming YOKKAO 35 Italian showdown. Astarita is himself a Muay Thai and K1 Italy champion. Like Yodchai, the 29 year-old Italian fighter is known for his technical ring style with skillful sweeps to rival the best. It’s a clash of skills and power with both fighters looking for a strong finish at YOKKAO 35. It’s all or nothing, as only one will make it home with the WBC gold.

One highly-anticipated appearance on YOKKAO 35 - 36 has to be the return of Liam Harrison to the YOKKAO ring. With about a month left to fight night, Harrison’s match-up has just been finalized. The UK number one will take on Italian fighter Ivan Naccari.
Naccari recently fought on the YOKKAO Next Generation promotion that took place on 1 December in Bologna. The Italian fighter impressed both the judges and promoter to secure the win as well as a spot on YOKKAO 36 to face Harrison. Naccari is a regular on the European Muay Thai and kickboxing circuits, and is well known for his KO power. This will be one of the biggest fights in his career when he goes head on against the UK legend.

With 3 months away from YOKKAO 37 - 38, the first fight has just been confirmed for the double event. This is a match-up that is guaranteed to delight fans of the sport, featuring Muay Thai star Superbank as he takes on English homegrown talent, Paul Karpowicz.
Fighting out of Bangkok’s Teeded-99 gym, Superbank is widely regarded as one of the finest fighters of this generation. The southpaw technician is known for his slick style, great movement and wild sweeps. As a true testament of his place in the sport, Superbank has received various accolades including the prestigious Fighter of the Year award from Sports Authority of Thailand in 2014.
