YOKKAO Next Generation returns once again to the island of Phuket on Sunday, 23 December. On top of a card of young promising competitors, the event will be co-headlined by YOKKAO stars: Manachai and Yodchai.
It’s another day at the office for both Thai fighters who are coming into the event ahead of their respective title bouts at the highly-anticipated YOKKAO 35 -36 in Italy next month. This is no warm-up fight or walkover with Manachai taking on Thanungoen Por Lakboon and Yodchai matched up against Por Uthai Sor Jor Piek Uthai - both formidable fighters in their own right.

Preparations for YOKKAO 37 - 38 is officially underway with some familiar names and new faces already confirmed for the 23 March show. Two YOKKAO event regulars are ready to return to Bolton Macron Stadium for a face-off and it’s none other than Nathan Bendon vs Craig Coakley.
Nathan Bendon proved his place in the sport when he took on Rambo Phet Por Tor Aor at YOKKAO 32 with less than a month’s notice. The UK fighter fought tooth and nail against an elite Thai champion in one of the night’s most memorable fight, showing he can hold his own against the best. Bendon is back for his third YOKKAO appearance in another challenging bout as he faces the KO extraordinaire, Craig Coakley.

A third title bout has now been confirmed and added to YOKKAO 35 - 36 taking place on 26 January 2019. The previously announced fight between Yodchai from YOKKAO Fight Team and Jonathan Astarita from Italy will now be an official WBC Lightweight Intercontinental title match. Yodchai has built a reputation as a highly exciting fighter to watch in the ring, with a string of outstanding performances over the past 2 years in both domestic and international competitions.
Fighting since the age of 8, it’s now his time to shine as the 23 year-old finally gets his major title shot at the coming YOKKAO 35 Italian showdown. Astarita is himself a Muay Thai and K1 Italy champion. Like Yodchai, the 29 year-old Italian fighter is known for his technical ring style with skillful sweeps to rival the best. It’s a clash of skills and power with both fighters looking for a strong finish at YOKKAO 35. It’s all or nothing, as only one will make it home with the WBC gold.

One highly-anticipated appearance on YOKKAO 35 - 36 has to be the return of Liam Harrison to the YOKKAO ring. With about a month left to fight night, Harrison’s match-up has just been finalized. The UK number one will take on Italian fighter Ivan Naccari.
Naccari recently fought on the YOKKAO Next Generation promotion that took place on 1 December in Bologna. The Italian fighter impressed both the judges and promoter to secure the win as well as a spot on YOKKAO 36 to face Harrison. Naccari is a regular on the European Muay Thai and kickboxing circuits, and is well known for his KO power. This will be one of the biggest fights in his career when he goes head on against the UK legend.

Featuring a stacked card of Muay Thai stars, the stakes at YOKKAO 35 - 36 are upped once again with a WBC title bout on the line.Spencer Brown’s scheduled match against Italian fighter Luca Roma has just gotten more interesting as they will now compete for the WBC Super-Lightweight European title.
Originally from Irvine, Scotland, Spencer has spent the last 2 years building his Muay Thai career out of YOKKAO Training Center Bangkok. He is currently ranked in the WBC Super-Lightweight world top 20 standings. A victory at the coming battle at YOKKAO 36 will secure him a better spot and see him propelled up on the world chart.

With 3 months away from YOKKAO 37 - 38, the first fight has just been confirmed for the double event. This is a match-up that is guaranteed to delight fans of the sport, featuring Muay Thai star Superbank as he takes on English homegrown talent, Paul Karpowicz.
Fighting out of Bangkok’s Teeded-99 gym, Superbank is widely regarded as one of the finest fighters of this generation. The southpaw technician is known for his slick style, great movement and wild sweeps. As a true testament of his place in the sport, Superbank has received various accolades including the prestigious Fighter of the Year award from Sports Authority of Thailand in 2014. A spot on the YOKKAO 35 - 36 fight card has long been reserved for Manachai. His opponent for the 26 January event in Turin Italy is finally confirmed with the stakes doubled - the YOKKAO star will take on Italian fighter Luca Falco for the WMC Intercontinental title.
This is set to be Manachai’s second title bout following his October win in Hong Kong for the WBC Muay Thai world welterweight belt. The 22 year-old is also coming off a 4-win streak with 14 victories in his last 15 outings and it doesn’t look like he will be slowing down. Manachai will now look to add another piece of gold as he builds his legacy.

YOKKAO Next Generation debuted in Bologna Italy on 1 December showcasing a card of prominent Muay Thai athletes in the country. Held at the Zola Predosa Sports Hall in Bologna, the show was headlined by an exhilarating match-up between Karim Bennoui and Cristian Faustino.
Both fighters left nothing to chance, with the action escalating rapidly right from the start. Bennoui delivered what he was best known for: strong punches and even harder low kicks. Faustino retaliated by playing the strategic game with well-timed counter-offense and wicked elbows. After 5 rounds of intense crossfire, Faustino was awarded the win via decision.
After his victory on the Next Generation event, it’s a bigger step-up for Faustino as he will take on the legend Saenchai for the YOKKAO 36 main event on 26 January.

With the talent-search initiative moving progressively towards global expansion, YOKKAO promotion team has identified Turin Italy as the next in line to host the events. YOKKAO 35 - 36 is set to take place on 26 January 2019 in Turin Italy. Featuring two back-to-back shows on one night, the much-anticipated Muay Thai gala features a lineup like never before.
