    BREAKING: Singdam vs Coakley for WBC Diamond title at YOKKAO 42

    YOKKAO’s inaugural Ireland showcase has just confirmed its main event matchup and it is set to be one of the biggest fights in YOKKAO history. On 27 July, Thai legend, Singdam will battle it out with Ireland’s own Craig “Coco” Coakley for the highly-coveted WBC Diamond championship belt!

    WBC first created the "Diamond Championship" belt in 2009 as a championship to award the winner of a historic fight between two high-profile fighters. To date, only 2 Muay Thai fighters have  the honour of holding the title and they are two of the biggest stars in the entire Muay Thai history: Buakaw Banchamek and living legend, Saenchai.

    Come the night of 27 July, another fighter will be honored with the distinguished Diamond championship belt. Either way it goes, we expect this to be an explosive fight like never before.

    YOKKAO 39: Yodchai vs Quan Trinh

    Another banging matchup has just been confirmed for YOKKAO 39 in Sydney. It’s one WBC champion against another as Yodchai takes on Australian fighter, Quan Trinh.

    Making his Australian debut at the coming YOKKAO 39, Yodchai has acquired an almost pristine record over the past year. His powerful kicks and technical precision have won him increasingly more fans around the world. After headlining a recent show at the distinguished Lumpinee stadium, the current WBC Lightweight Intercontinental champion will make his return to the YOKKAO stage in Sydney to face his Australian opponent, Quan Trinh.

    Fighting out of Melbourne’s 8 Blade Warriors, Quan is a WBC MuayThai Super-Lightweight Victorian (state) champion. Quan is known for his forward-moving style and delivering wars in the ring but can be technical when the situation calls for it.

    Spencer takes on Albert Xavier at YOKKAO 40

    With 2 back-to-back fight announcements made for YOKKAO 39, the first bout for YOKKAO 40 has just been fixed. Spencer Brown will take on Timor-Leste fighter, Albert Xavier in the co-main event on 25 May.

    The coming event marks Spencer’s second appearance in Sydney and he will be looking to mark it with a strong performance. The WBC European champion made a lasting impression in his headlining fight at YOKKAO Next Generation Sydney last May. Despite the decisive loss, Spencer won the hearts of local fans in the 5-round war against elite fighter, Singpayak PTJ Chombueng. In his return to Sydney, we expect Spencer to make a powerful statement in the ring against Albert Xavier.

    With about a month away to d-day at YOKKAO 39 - 40 in Sydney, the first matchup has just been confirmed. Multi-time stadium champion Singdam is set to take on Alexi Petroulias for the main event on YOKKAO 39.

    Petroulias is one of the most prominent fighters on the Australian Muay Thai circuit. He has held a number of top honors in the country including the WBC Australian Super Lightweight and Welterweight titles. Fighting out of 8 Blade Warriors in Melbourne, Australia, Petroulias received the “Pro Male Fighter of the year” and “Most Technical Fighter of the year” at the Australian Muay Thai awards in 2015.

    YOKKAO is making its way back to Australia, marking its fourth visit to the country. Three Next Generation events have been held in the land down under to date and it is time to take it to the next level.     BREAKING: Manachai vs Rafi Bohic Lumpinee Title Bout Confirmed!

    Almost a year in the making, one of the most anticipated welterweight faceoff is finally going to take place. Manachai will go head to head against Rafi Bohic on 30 April for the Lumpinee stadium welterweight title. They will be meeting at 142 lbs for the fight.

    The 2 welterweight powerhouses were originally supposed to face off in May last year but the fight had to be postponed as Manachai had committed to another event. The matchup is now officially confirmed and there is no turning back.

    Manachai had been longing for a stadium title shot and his wish is finally granted. After clocking a successful run of wins, he took home the coveted WBC Muay Thai world championship title in October 2018. Come 30 April, Manachai will be looking at one of the most important challenges in his career as he takes on the current Lumpinee welterweight champion.
