    Saenchai Takes on the Whole Gym!

    No one can say that the champ Saencahi doesn’t deliver the greatest action! Whether it’s in his masterful, action packed, sold out arena fights or behind the scenes with his fellow YOKKAO teammates during his daily conditioning and training. Recently however, Saenchai was in a mood for a little more excitement than normal and decided to take on the entire YOKKAO Muay Thai Training Center Bangkok. Similar to the “Shark Tank Drill” often seen in MMA and BJJ training, Saenchai was surrounded by foreigner fighters, who each came in fresh and took turns sparring with the Living Legend. Training of this nature is of course done for a few reasons. 1. To work on Saenchai’s endurance, as he is the only one not given a break. 2. Each fighter brings a slightly different style, size, height or reach for him to deal with. 3. To keep the champ on his toes, and fully focused on his surroundings.     Yesterday in an unexpected surprise, Japan’s Tetsuya Yamato posted a new video on both IG and facebook, challenging the YOKKAO World Champion Liam Harrison for a rematch in his home country of England. Yamato and his team still refuse to accept their defeat at YOKKAO 17 in Bolton and want a chance to get revenge. It looks like Liam, in the video comments, has happily accepted Yamato’s challenge with a simple response of “anytime”! What are your thoughts on this challenge?     Manachai Delivers A Devastating Elbow to Collect His 18th KO in Khorat!

    This past Tuesday, May 31st, the energy was electric as YOKKAO Next Generation took place for the first time in the remote north-east town of Khorat, Thailand. The event was star studded with the presence of the complete Team from the all new YOKKAO Training Center in the heart of Bangkok: Saenchai, Singdam, Manachai, Chanajon, Kru Manop and Petchdam were all there to support their two fellow team fighters from the northern Camp: Manachai and Petphaitoon. Pephaitoon YOKKAOSaenchaigym vs Wangin Por Saman The YOKKAO action kicked off with Pephaitoon YOKKAO Saenchaigym vs Wangin Por Saman. Petphaitoon, entering to the ring fresh off a win just 3 days before at the legendary Lumpinee Staduim. The fight featured great clinching and clear points scored by both fighters.
