Sudsakorn began training Muay Thai at the age of 6 under his stepfather and older cousin Rambaa Somdet M16. His older cousin was a famous golden era fighter and well known for his ring presence, often entering the ring wearing oversized sunglasses and carrying a boom box. At the age of 10 he was taken to Sitor Gym in Pattaya. He trained there for several years until he moved on to Sitjaipetch gym. From there he moved on to Scorpion gym and when he was 23 he moved to Sor Klinmee gym owned and operated by his uncle Tappaya. Most recently he has joined Venum in Pattaya where he teaches and continues to fight.

Fight Career

Sudsakorn was a regular at the Theprasit Boxing Stadium in early 2005 and was able to journey abroad for the first time when he fought Robert Storey on the England vs Thailand Muay Thai Warriors show in Crawley in the United Kingdom. He beat Storey on decision and beat him again on decision two months later in Belfast. His following two fights against Ouadang Soukilatougsong and Egon Herzing saw him take the WPMF World Title and the WMC S1 World title respectively.

Sudsakorn continued to fight out of Theprasit stadium for the following years until 2008 when he began to emerge on the international scene. In late 2008 he battled the respected Fabio Pinca on La Nuit des Champions 2008 in Marseilles France. He was beaten via TKO in the 5th round. Sudsakorn continued to make the international rounds though fighting in Paris, Morocco, and Hong Kong.

In early 2010 Sudsakorn took the vacant WKN Muay Thai welterweight world title at 66.7kg after beating out Andrei Kulebin in Turin Italy on a Campionato Mondiale Thai Boxe promotion. He beat Kulebin again later the same year to take the WKN Belarus Big 8 Tournament via TKO. Sudsakorn stopped Kulebin in the second round via doctor stoppage.

In 2011 he beat out countrymen Kem Sitsongpeenong in the much lauded Isuzu Tournament. His following bout in Torino Italy saw him lose a decision against the very technical Giorgio Petroysan. That year saw him begin to regularly appear on the Thai Fight Extreme card on which he still regularly appeals.

Along with his Thai Fight events Sudsakorn appeared for the first time on YOKKAO Extreme in 2012 when he took on and defeated Marco Pique. He appeared on the show again in YOKKAO Extreme 2013 when he defeated Mickael Piscitello.

He has continued to appear on the world stage and has become a favorite on Thai Fight. Sudsakorn has even appeared in kaad cheuk bouts in which the boxers wear “gloves” composed of hemp rope. He famously beat Saiyok Pumpanmuang in 2013 in an extra extension round.

Most recently he has bested Johane Beausejour on a Thai Fight show held in Paris. He took the win via decision.

Sudsakorn is a smart fighter that uses his angles well to entrap his opponents. He has a record of 330 fights with 278 wins, 48 losses and 4 draws.
