    YOKKAO 44 Main Event: Liam Harrison vs Jeremy Payet

    With about a month away from YOKKAO 43-44 taking place on 26 October, the much-anticipated main event has just been confirmed. Fan-favorite and UK legend, Liam Harrison will take on French KO specialist, Jeremy Payet in a headlining faceoff at the University of Bolton stadium.

    The man who hardly needs any introduction, Harrison is an integral part of YOKKAO shows since his promotional debut in 2014. He has built a reputation around the world for bringing wars to the ring in all his fights. Harrison is set to make his 10th appearance for the promotion at YOKKAO 44 where he will take on another hard-hitting fighter - Jeremy Payet. 

    Payet returns to the YOKKAO stage after a solid performance against Singdam at YOKKAO 35 in Italy. Nicknamed “Mister KO” for his high knockout rates, the French Muay Thai and kickboxing champion has also fought against the likes of Jack Kennedy and Chri

    YOKKAO 44: Joe Craven vs Alex McGregor

    Another potentially explosive matchup has just been confirmed for YOKKAO 44 that is set to take place in Bolton. UK middleweight number one, Joe Craven will take on young Scottish talent, Alex MacGregor in a 72-kg faceoff.

    Fighting out of the renowned Bad Company Gym, Craven needs little introduction for the UK fight fans. He has achieved an unbeaten record in all his four appearances on the YOKKAO promotions to date. After his victory against Chris Shaw in March, Craven will return to the Bolton stage to face his towering opponent.

    McGregor made UK fans sit up and take notice when he made his promotional debut at YOKKAO 37. The 23-year-old fighter went into the fight as the underdog against hot-favorite, Niall Brown. McGregor put on a stunning performance to take home the win via decision and earned his ticket for his return to the YOKKAO ring this October.

    It’s the time of the year and the date is now confirmed - YOKKAO 43-44 will return to UK on 26 October 2019 to be staged at Bolton Macron Stadium.

    YOKKAO 43 - 44 marks the 5th straight year since the acclaimed event was first brought to the UK. The promotions have grown to become one of the biggest Muay Thai events in the region with consistent production, exciting matchups and an always great atmosphere.

    YOKKAO UK been a driving force in promoting the sport in the region, providing an international platform for UK fighters to prove themselves. Many fighters on our shows have gone on to prove they could go toe-to-toe against the very best in the world.

    Craig Coakley Signs 3-year Deal with YOKKAO Agency

    The launch of YOKKAO Agency was first announced on 18 April. Our fighter management agency has just officially signed with our first fighter who is none other than Ireland’s KO specialist, Craig Coakley.

    Since his promotional debut at YOKKAO 23, Coakley has dished out three stunning victories by means of knockouts. The Irish Muay Thai phenom has built his reputation and a growing fanbase as one of the most exciting and formidable fighters on the UK and Ireland circuit.

    Coakley’s first fight as a YOKKAO Agency athlete pits him against Thai legend, Singdam. The two will battle it out at YOKKAO 42 over one of Muay Thai’s most prestigious and coveted green belt: WBC Diamond Championship title. Coakley, a WBC ranked fighter, will now have the chance to prove himself as one of Muay Thai’s best Lightweights in the world.

    YOKKAO’s inaugural Ireland showcase has just confirmed its main event matchup and it is set to be one of the biggest fights in YOKKAO history. On 27 July, Thai legend, Singdam will battle it out with Ireland’s own Craig “Coco” Coakley for the highly-coveted WBC Diamond championship belt!

    WBC first created the "Diamond Championship" belt in 2009 as a championship to award the winner of a historic fight between two high-profile fighters.     YOKKAO 37 - 38: An Unstoppable Force

    It was yet another sold-out success with YOKKAO 37 - 38 held last Saturday, 23 March at the University of Bolton stadium. UK fight fans were presented with a stacked 19-bout card featuring the best of the region, along with headlining Thai stars, Superbank Sakchaichote and Rambo Phet Por Tor Aor.

    8 bouts on the undercard kickstarted the event off on the right note with intense non-stop action and a couple of knockouts to liven up the atmosphere. Some notable performances include up-and-coming fighters Kieran Lee, Ryan Stockley and Corey McLachlan who furthered their winning streak on the Next Generation scorecards.

    20 YOKKAO UK Fighters On WBC Muay Thai Ranking!

    World Boxing Council (WBC) recently updated its fighters ranking across all weight classes and over twenty UK fighters made it to the latest list.

    UK is one of the most prolific regions outside of Thailand in producing the world’s top Muay Thai athletes. This phenomenon is represented by the number of UK fighters who have populated the WBC charts over the past decade.

    "As the most prominent Muay Thai promotion in UK, it is no surprise we have hosted many of the region’s top fighters in our official events. On last count, 20 out of the WBC ranked UK fighters have featured on YOKKAO fight cards", said YOKKAO UK promoter, Brian Calder.

    Craig Coakley To Face Mo Abdurahman at YOKKAO 38

    YOKKAO 37 - 38 is just four weeks away from a night of smashing action at the Macron Stadium in Bolton UK. In a highly-anticipated YOKKAO 38 bout, Craig Coakley was originally matched up against UK super lightweight top seed, Nathan Bendon. The latter has unfortunately sustained a hand injury and will be pulling out from the coming event. The show must go on and Coakley will now take on another formidable opponent.

    The Irish fighter is on a hot winning streak with a trio of KO victories in all his last three YOKKAO appearances. We know that he will be looking for his fourth at the coming show but Coakley’s stint in the ring at YOKKAO 38 is not going to be a walk in the park.
