    Breaking: First Six Fighters Announced for YOKKAO 45-46!

    Taking place in Turin, Italy on 26 January 2020, the date is set for YOKKAO 45-46 and matchmaking is officially underway. Organized in partnership with Thai Boxe Mania promoter, Carlo Barbuto, the double event will be held once again at the PalaRuffini arena. 

    YOKKAO 35-36 saw about 5000 fans turning up at the Turin arena earlier in January this year with a stellar cast of Muay Thai stars assembled for the show. The event went down as one of the most dramatic and memorable nights that kept our audience at the edge of the seats. 

    After months of planning, we are set to kick off 2020 with a massive, star-studded card at YOKKAO 45-46.     YOKKAO 43-44: Night of Hard Knocks

    YOKKAO 43-44 will be remembered as one of the most brutal shows in the promotion’s history with nearly half of the fights ending in knockouts. A total of 7 TKOs and 4 KOs make up the results of the stacked 21-bout double-event. 

    Thousands of fans showed up at the University of Bolton stadium for yet another sold-out show which was broadcast live on Facebook and YouTube around the world. Nine exciting bouts on the undercard got the crowds fired off with high-octane action from young, up-and-coming talents including YOKKAO Agency fighter, Ellie Barker.

    The main card picked up steaming heat in no time with three back-to-back knockouts. Audiences were also treated to one of the most memorable bouts of the evening from Brian Totty and Jack Kennedy who put on a classic display of elite Muay Thai action.

    Manachai Steps In to Co-Headline YOKKAO Fight Night Bologna

    As announced earlier, Spencer has pulled out from YOKKAO Fight Night Bologna due to a suspected traumatic brain injury. The young fighter has ceased all training and is now undergoing further tests and recovery treatment until all symptoms are fully cleared. 

    Stepping in to face Italian fighter, Alessio D’Angelo in Bologna in place of Spencer will be none other than fellow teammate, Manachai. The former world champion took a hiatus since August and recently returned to the camp where he has resumed his training. 

    Manachai underwent a tough period over the last few months with the passing of his father.     Spencer Out of YOKKAO Fight Night with Suspected Brain Trauma

    Originally set to co-headline 30th November’s YOKKAO Fight Night Bologna, Spencer has pulled out of the event due to suspected traumatic brain injury.

    Over the past week, Spencer has reported seeing flashes of light on a recurring basis on top of vertigo, dizzy spells, and other symptoms. It is uncertain when the injury was sustained but as a key concern of the YOKKAO Team to ensure the well-being of our fighters, we have consulted at three different hospitals (namely Sukhumvit Hospital, Bangkok Hospital and Samitivej Hospital respectively) to get a second and third opinion for an accurate diagnosis of his conditions.

    So far, Spencer has undergone various medical checkups including eye, MRI scans and other tests. Both the MRI and eye test results indicated no abnormalities, leading doctors to suspect brain trauma but further investigations will be conducted to arrive at a reliable d

    YOKKAO is heading to the UK once again in two weeks’ time for another double event at the University of Bolton Stadium. A stacked card of 21 bouts have been lined up for the 26 October show featuring UK’s top Muay Thai athletes as well as visitors from Spain and Thailand.

    Originally primed for main event action, Liam Harrison has pulled out due to a knee injury sustained in his last fight at YOKKAO 41 in Dublin. He has been advised by medical specialist to stay out of training for 2 weeks in this period leading to the event, prompting the decision. We wish Harrison a speedy recovery and look forward to his next fight on the YOKKAO stage.

    Scotland’s very own Craig Dickson is stepping up on short notice to take on Payet for the challenge. Dickson is the current UK number 2 in the welterweight division with over 100 fights to his name. He has fought in Thailand for many years again

    Spencer vs D’Angelo co-headlines YOKKAO Fight Night Bologna

    Another headlining act has been confirmed for YOKKAO Fight Night Bologna that will place on 30 November. In the co-main event will be Spencer from the YOKKAO Fight Team, taking on Italian fighter, Alessio D’Angelo.

    The coming fight marks Spencer’s return to the ring since his memorable performance at Dublin’s YOKKAO 41 in July. The Scotsman had been out of training having just completed a recent 3-week seminar tour with Saenchai in the USA. Never one to shy away from challenges, Spencer has picked up the tempo back at the gym and will take on former WMC world champion, D’Angelo a in the coming coheadliner. 

    Making his YOKKAO debut at Bologna, D’Angelo comes with over 10 years of professional experience under both Muay Thai and K1 rules. The Italian fighter has competed on top promotions such as Max Muay Thai, Thai Fight and Glory Kickboxing. D’Angelo also counts himself among those

    Fresh off the YOKKAO Seminar tour in the USA, Yodchai is back training in full gear for the coming bout in Bolton. Since capturing the WBC Intercontinental title in January, the 24-year-old has been focusing on making his name at Lumpinee Stadium where he has headlined a number of events. He returns to the international scene on 26th where he will make his UK debut against  local veteran, Dean James.

    YOKKAO Seminar USA Tour: A 13000-KM Road Trip

    After months of planning and preparations, our seminar team embarked on the most ambitious tour to date. Led by living legend, Saenchai, as well as Spencer, Yodchai and Kru Jack, the team travelled in a rented RV from the East to the West Coast of the USA. 

    A total of 20 seminars were held in 22 days and over 13,000 kilometers (more than 8000 miles) travelled across the country. The epic road trip kicked off in New York and covered cities including Chicago, Nashville, Miami, Dallas, Las Vegas, San Diego, Los Angeles and Seattle. 

    The tour was met with great fanfare and the team arrived at each gym to the enthusiastic reception of the fans. Many seminars were also sold out across the country.     With matchmaking heating up for our 26 October double-header in the UK, the first official bout for the YOKKAO 43 card has just been confirmed. It will feature two YOKKAO UK favorites, Brian Totty Jr and Jack Kennedy as they clash in a welterweight faceoff.

    Kennedy has proved himself as one of the UK’s best having fought many of the best fighters in the promotion including Singdam, Craig Coakley and Nathan Bendon. He has also faced many renowned and elite opponents on the international circuit such as Thanonchai Ratchanon and Changpuak Pongtong. Fighting out of Southport’s Imperial Muay Thai Academy, the English fighter will return to make his seventh appearance on our show.
