Manachai & Chalawan to fight on Kiatpetch promotions in July!
Chalawan and Manachai, together with YOKKAO’s gym manager Khun Yo, were invited to visit Kiatpetch offices on Tuesday 2 July. A series of fights have been scheduled for the two fighters which will take place over the next few months on Kiatpetch events.
Founded by Mr Phirapong Theeradeatpong, Kiatpetch promotions is one of the biggest Muay Thai promoters in Thailand, organizing over 100 events in Bangkok’s top stadiums every year.Â
The first in a series of fights will see Manachai appearing on July 13 as the main event at Lumpinee Stadium. The bout has been set at 142lbs and will be a rematch. Further details will be posted as we await response on whether the opponent will take up the fight.
Manachai was originally scheduled to fight on July 7 at Muay Thai Super Champ for a 3-round bout, but the opponent pulled out too close to the event for a replacement to be made.
Prior to signing up with YOKKAO, Chalawan had already fought on Kiatpetch promotions and is no stranger to the famed promoter. Chalawan will make his first appearance for YOKKAO team on July 14 in Bangkok against an opponent who will be announced shortly.
