    YOKKAO 41-42: Dynamite Dublin Night

    YOKKAO 41-42 wrote a new page not just for our promotion’s history but also in the history of Muay Thai. This was the first-ever YOKKAO Ireland event which also saw the crowning of a new WBC Diamond world champion. The double event also saw a record-breaking number of KOs with over half the fights on the main card ending in stoppages. 

    More than 2000 fans from all over Ireland and UK showed up at Dublin’s National Basketball Arena to attend YOKKAO 41-42  which was broadcasted live on Facebook and YouTube to fans around the world. It was an electrifying atmosphere as the ardent fans cheered on their local heroes and Muay Thai stars.

    YOKKAO 41-42 Weigh-In Results

    It is just one day away from YOKKAO 41-42, set to be one of the biggest Irish Muay Thai shows of the year. The double event will be held at Dublin’s National Basketball Arena and with the undercard kicking off on Saturday, 27 July at 14:00 Ireland time.

    The official weigh-ins were held today at the Green Isle Hotel and all fighters have successfully made weight for the show. A WBC official was also present at the conference to oversee the weight checks for Singdam and Craig Coakley who will be competing for the WBC Muay Thai Super-Lightweight Diamond championship belt.

    Team YOKKAO Confirmed for YOKKAO Seminar USA Tour

    Since the YOKKAO Seminar USA Tour was first announced in June, we have received an overwhelming response from gyms and Muay Thai enthusiasts in the United States. Over 50 gyms from across the country applied to host a YOKKAO Seminar with many requests still coming in. 

    After weeks of preparation, planning and coordination with the gyms and our seminar team, we are pleased to announce that the first tour dates and venues are now confirmed. Muay Thai fans in Maryland and Pennsylvania will be among the first to meet and train with the legend on the tour.

    Since making his promotional debut on YOKKAO 23 in 2017, Craig Coakley has made a name for himself on the Muay Thai scene with a string of KO victories. 

    Fighting out of Dublin Combat Academy, Craig holds a record of 24 fights with 21 wins, 3 losses and 17 KOs. His high KO-rate has made him one of the most dangerous knockout specialists in the global Muay Thai scene today.

    The Irish fighter headlines YOKKAO 42 on 27 July in Ireland as he takes on Muay thai legend, Singdam for the highly-coveted WBC Super-lightweight Diamond title. The winner from the YOKKAO 42 main event will join legends, Buakaw and Saenchai to be the third fighter in history to hold a WBC Muay Thai Diamond belt.

    Stefan Korodi: This Fight is Going to End in An Early KO

    YOKKAO 41 - 42 will be heading to Dublin, Ireland on 27 July for a stacked card of Muay Thai action. The double event will be headlined by the WBC Diamond title bout between Singdam and Craig Coakley. Another highly-anticipated matchup is the 63.5kg clash between Spencer and Stefan Korodi.

    Fighting out of Dublin Combat Academy and now training out of PK Saenchai Gym in Bangkok, Korodi is a fighter to watch for. The Irish fighter won all of his last 4 fights in Thailand by way of knockout. We expect an explosive fight between Korodi and Spencer on 27 July.

    Full Fight Card Released for YOKKAO 41-42

    Organized in partnership with YOKKAO UK promoter, Brian Calder and renowned Irish fight coach, Collie Mahon, YOKKAO 41-42 is set to be Ireland’s biggest Muay Thai event of the year. A total of ten professional bouts and ten undercard fights have been confirmed for the 27 July Saturday showdown that will take place at the Irish capital of Dublin.

    Headlining the double event will be the high-profile match-up between Singdam and Ireland’s very own Craig Coakley. It’s double or nothing as the two fighters will be competing for the prestigious WBC Muay Thai Super-lightweight Diamond belt.     Manachai vs Julio Lobo Rematch at Lumpinee on 13 July

    Manachai is set to return to Lumpinee Stadium this Saturday on the weekly Muay Thai Lumpinee TKO promotion. He will headline the event in a much-anticipated rematch with Thailand-based Brazilian fighter, Julio Lobo. 

    The pair first met in October 2018 for the WBC welterweight world title on YOKKAO 34 in Hong Kong. It was a memorable 5-round war between the two with Manachai putting in a dominating performance that saw him walking away with the belt via unanimous decision. 

    Fighting out of Phuket Fight Club, Lobo has been building a name for himself competing at Lumpinee stadium over the past year. The 24-year-old will pit his skills against Manachai once again in the ring on 13 July in an attempt to even the score.

    YOKKAO Acquires New Fighter From Buriram

    YOKKAO Training Center Bangkok welcomes a new fighter this week. 

    At the young age of 18, Chalawan Sor Thanapet is already a regular on the elite stadium scene, having fought at the prestigious Lumpinee and Channel 7 stadiums. Chalawan is an all-rounded technical fighter but has been known to finish his fights with sharp precision and power. His current record stands at 154 fights with 121 wins (12 KOs) and 33 losses.

    Born and raised in Isaan like many Thai fighters, Chalawan joins fellow Buriram fighters including Singdam and Manachai at YOKKAO Training Center Bangkok. The young fighter will train under the supervision of Kru Petchdam along with monitoring by YOKKAO legends like Saenchai and Singdam.
